DM520 - Digitaler DVB-S2 Empfangsreceiver für HD TV- und Radioprogramme.

Die kompakte Dreambox DM520 setzt mit modernem Design und einer technischen Ausstattung auf höchsten Niveau neue Maßstäbe. Der neue Videostandard H.265, der u.a. für den DVB-T2-Empfang in Deutschland und vielen anderen Ländern erforderlich ist, wird von der HDTV-Dreambox unterstützt.

Ein Broadcom-Chipsatz der neusten Generation BCM 73625 sorgt für schnelle Umschaltzeiten und eine flüssige Navigation. Die DM520 wird mit der beliebten RCU10-Multi-Fernbedienung für Dreamboxen und Wiedergabegeräte wie Fernseher oder Blu-ray-Player ausgeliefert. Die für Kompaktboxen typischen 256 MB im Flash-Speicher übertrumpft die DM520 mit 512 MB – genug Speicher für innovative IP-Dienste. Hierzu sind bereits einige Apps in Planung. Zusätzlich unterstützt die DM520 auch den SatI P-Standard. Über den rückseitigen Ethernet-Port oder optional über WLAN wird die Dreambox mit dem Internet verbunden.

Das futuristische Design der DM520 mit der farbigen Status-LED-Anzeige verkörpert die Innovationskraft, für die die Dreamboxen weltweit bekannt sind. So verfügt die DM520 an der Front über einen beleuchteten Touch-On/Off-Sensor. Auf der Rückseite befinden sich unter anderem zwei USB-Anschlüsse, über die der Nutzer die Dreambox im Fall von Flash-Abstürzen eigenhändig wiederherstellen kann, ohne dass er sie einsenden muss.

Kus siin on 4K
Saksas on valitud DVB-T2 võrkudesse HVEC H.265 pakkimine. See ilmselt üks pöhjustest, et Broadcomi hd stb chippidesse lisati H265 tugi.

minu jaoks praegu ongi küsimus, kas DM520 HD mõne DVB-S2 4K kanali pilti hakkab näitama või mitte..

mina ei taha midagi, tõin välja ühe koheselt nähtava miinuse.. kui on HEVC võiks 2.0 HDMI ka (nii muuseas) olla ja kui vaja pangu hinnale otsa..

1. Minu jaoks praegu ongi küsimus, kas DM520 HD mõne DVB-S2 4K kanali pilti hakkab näitama või mitte.
2. Mina ei taha midagi, tõin välja ühe koheselt nähtava miinuse - kui on HEVC võiks 2.0 HDMI ka (nii muuseas) olla.
3. Ja kui vaja pangu hinnale otsa.

1. Ei hakka.
2. Arvatavasti sellepärast ongi HDMI 1.4a, et seda on piisavalt näitamaks DVB-T2 võrkudes SD/HD kanaleid, pakituna H.265/HEVC.
3. Sellisel juhul oota DM900 4K müügile ilmumist, mille hinnaks tuleb arvatavasti alates vähemalt 500€ ja up...
